About Me

Avery (she/her) is a Detroit born-and-raised actor, singer, and dancer.

Growing up in Dearborn, Michigan just outside Detroit, she was fully immersed into a community flowing with creativity and a love for the arts. She started dancing at the age of 3 and began her theatrical career shortly after.  Avery grew up performing at the Ford Performing Arts Center as well as many other theaters in the Metro Detroit area. She had the amazing oppurtunity to study in New York City at Open Jar Institute in 2021 where she got to work with some of the top industy professionals. Avery is currently attending Nazareth University in Rochester, New York studying Musical Theatre. She is projected to get her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 2026. She most recently was in “Cabaret’ directed by Richard Biever, choreographed by Jeff Shade, and music directed by Sean Michael Flowers (performed at Nazareth University).

Along with her passion for theatre and all that comes with it, she also enjoys writing and producing her own music. At the age of 16, she released two songs. “All U Need Is Love” and “I’m So Done With Being in Love With U” can be found on all streaming platforms.
